Conditions of Participation

Participation in the competition organized by The Box Office GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the "operator" or "organizer," is free of charge and governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.

Procedure of the Competition

The competition runs from June 1, 2025, to July 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CET. During this period, all purchasers of an online ticket will automatically be entered into the competition.

Participation

To take part in the competition, it is not necessary to fill out any additional entry forms or similar documents. Participation is only possible during the competition period. Tickets purchased after the deadline will not be included in the draw.One participant per ticket.Participation in the competition is free of charge.

Eligible Participants

Natural persons who reside in Germany and are at least 14 years old are eligible to participate. Participation is limited to purchasers of a ticket for the BMX CGN 2025 event on July 5, 2025, and is not dependent on the purchase of any other goods or services.If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal guardian is required.All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition, as well as employees of the operator and their family members, are excluded from participation.
Furthermore, the operator reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation at its sole discretion if there are justified reasons, for example:

(a) in the event of manipulation related to access to or the conduct of the competition,
(b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation,
(c) in the event of unfair behavior, or
(d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation.

Prize, Notification, and Delivery of the Prize

The following prize will be awarded:
1x Sunday BMX Bike
The winner will be selected after the competition ends on July 3, 2025, through a random draw from all participants (i.e., those who purchased a ticket online for the BMX CGN 2025 event by the deadline).
The draw and prize presentation will take place during the BMX CGN 2025 event on July 5, 2025. If the winner is not present, they will be promptly notified of their prize via a separate email.
The prize will only be handed over to the winner or, in the case of a minor, to their legal guardian. Exchange, self-collection, or cash payment of the prize is not possible.Any shipping costs incurred for delivering the prize will be covered by the operator. Additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is solely responsible for any applicable taxes on the prize.
If the winner does not respond within three weeks after receiving two notifications, the prize may be awarded to another participant.

Termination of the Competition

The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without stating reasons. This particularly applies in cases where disruptions or other issues would prevent the competition from being carried out as planned.

Data Protection

To participate in the competition, personal data must be provided. The participant confirms that the information provided—especially first name, last name, and email address—is truthful and accurate.
The organizer assures that all personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not be passed on to third parties or made available for third-party use without consent.
In the event of winning, the participant agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the promotional media used by the organizer. This includes announcements on the operator's website and social media platforms.
Participants may withdraw their consent at any time by submitting a written request to The Box Office GmbH. Upon receipt of the revocation, all stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately.

Applicable Law

Questions or complaints in connection with the competition should be directed to the operator. Contact details can be found in the legal notice section of www.theboxoffice.de.
The competition is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Severability Clause

Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible regulation that comes as close as possible to the economic intent and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of any omissions or gaps in these conditions.
